Langtang Gosaikunda trek is an adventurous as well as daring route which takes you through stunning Langtang Valley and scenic-rich Langtang National Park, a UNESCO listed Natural World Heritage Site.

In this single trek you get first-hand experience of valleys -to- hills -to- mountains aka the Himalayas. Gosainkunda is a holy freshwater lake in Langtang National Park and is also a UNESCO listed Ramsar site. Gosainkunda has religious importances in Hindu as well as Buddhist religion which tells about its origin in various mythologies. Gosainkunda located at an altitude of 4380m above sea level is one of the world’s sacred lake and pilgrimage for Hindus and Buddhists religion.

The journey all starts from Kathmandu. The highest altitude to ascend is Chorkari Ri at 5050m above sea level which is not even a mountain in Nepal’s context.  The most thrilling and breathtaking part of this trek is Lauribina Pass at an altitude of 4610m.

Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

7-8 hours drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,610m).

6 hours Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,480m).

5 hours Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3,541m).

4 hours Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,830m).

7-8 hours Trek from Langtang Village to Chorkari Ri (5,050m) and back to Kyangjin Gompa.

6 hours Trek down to Lama Hotel (2,480m).

6 hours Trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,200m).

5 hours Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3,580m).

5-6 hours Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda (4,380m).

Cross over the Lauribina Pass (4,600m). Descend to Phedi (3,420m) 6 hours walk Approx.

Trek from Phedi to Thadepati (3,690m).

Trek from Thadepati to Kutumsang (2,470m).

6 hours Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani (2,215m).
