Paragliding

(1 customer review)

Paragliding is the recreational and competitive adventure sports.

Paragliding in Nepal is the recreational and competitive adventure sports of flying para-gliders: lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. Paragliding in Nepal is famous in Pokhara. The pilot sits in a harness suspended below a fabric wing. Wing shape is maintained by the suspension lines, the pressure of air entering vents in the front of the wing, and the aerodynamic forces of the air flowing over the outside.

Despite not using an engine, para-glider flights can last many hours and cover many hundreds of kilometers. By skillful exploitation of sources of lift, the pilot may gain height, often climbing to altitudes of a few thousand meters.

Pokhara is famous for this adventure activity. Many tourist comes here to do this adventure activity. This activity is done from the hills of Sarangkot, Pokhara.

Have an adventurous experience and feel like a bird.– Ava S. June.2015
